Advising

Advisers are an instrumental component to help guide you through your educational career.  New students in Aerospace Engineering will spend their first year working with a staff adviser to discuss potential paths and opportunities to explore. 

After year one, students are assigned to a faculty adviser, who will continue providing guidance through the remainder of their degree program.

Over the summer and during breaks there will not be regular drop-in advising hours.  Students may email aero-ugrad-advising@illinois.edu to schedule an advising appointment or ask questions.  We will resume drop-in advising hours when the fall semester begins.
