I-Card Access to OPEL
For Students to gain I-card access to OPEL they will need to:
- Complete the Division of Research Safety (DRS) online training program:
- Laboratory Safety Training Parts 1 and 2 (Takes approximately 60 minutes)
- Upon completion, students may submit an access request application, where they will be required to upload their safety training completion certificate and read and acknowledge OPEL policies, rules, and safety guidelines.
- Students will receive communication from the department typically within 5 business days with either an approval or denial.
