Description of Research:

The Aerospace Engineering computer laboratory contains 49 Windows-based computers each with dual monitors at each workstation. The lab is supported by Engineering IT, so the base software configuration is consistent with all other computer labs in engineering. However, additional software such as Kerbal Space Program and Satellite Tool Kit are available specifically in the Talbot computer lab. The lab is available twenty-four hours daily and is utilized extensively by Aerospace Engineering students from freshman working with NX in the computer-aided design course to seniors running simulations in MATLAB and Python for their senior-design projects.
