Daniel Dorney on campus to accept distinguished AE alumni award

The recipient of this year's AE Distinguished Alumni Award, unfortunately could not attend the awards ceremony this past April. However, Daniel J. Dorney, accompanied by his wife Suzanne, were able to make the trip from Huntsville, Alabama this week so he could receive the honor in person during the annual AE board meeting.

Dorney earned his  B.S.  in 1985 and his M.S. in 1987 from Illinois, He has been NASA’s Technical Fellow for Propulsion since 2018, and is located at the Marshall Space Flight Center.  This year, Dorney also received the 2022 AIAA Wyld Propulsion Award
for outstanding achievement in the development or application of rocket propulsion systems.
